How long does it take to do hair and makeup?
I schedule 1 hour for the bride (per service) and 45 minutes for wedding party members (per service). So brides could take up to 2 hours for both hair and makeup. I will do as many services as you’d like depending on your timeline. If you have a larger wedding party, I will typically do up to 6 services on my own (4.5 hours). Once we surpass that, I will hire additional (trusted) artists to help!
Do I need a trial?
(Everything you need to know about trials!)
PART 1: Absolutely! Which is why I have the bridal trial included in the total price. The trial gives us a chance to meet in person, discuss your vision, and try it out! If you don’t like something or want something adjusted, this is the time to do it! Please remember that your trial is a practice run, so it may not be perfect. However, I take A TON of notes and I always have an open conversation about what you like and dislike so that your hair and makeup will be to your liking on your wedding day!
PART 2: If you want to do a trial run before booking, we can definitely do that! Hair is $100 and Makeup is $100. If you decide to book, then the money you paid will go towards your total :)
PART 3: Anyone in your wedding party may request a trial for an additional $85 per service. It is not often that I get these requests, but when I do, mother’s are my top requesters! It’s a big day, and I want everyone to feel as stress free as possible!
How does the booking process work?
Please submit the form on the ‘Contact Us’ page. I will reply to you via email to get the ball rolling. I require a $275 retainer fee and a signed contract. Those two items will officially book your date! The retainer fee is applied toward your total and the remaining balance is not due until 30 days prior to your wedding date. Everything is done via e-mail and PayPal.
Do you travel?
Yes! I will travel to wherever you need me! Travel within a 25 miles radius around 55417 (Minneapolis, MN) is included. Anything outside the radius is billed at $15 per 25 miles. If your trial or wedding location is greater than 3 hours round trip, accommodations may be required at the cost of the client. Please contact me for an accurate quote.
