Do you have a booking minimum?
NOPE! I used to - but recently realized I LOVE catering to smaller wedding parties since it allows me to have the time I need to give everyone the most amazing hair possible!
I do have a booking MAXIMUM though - timelines become too long once we surpass bride + 6. Plus it’s becoming difficult to find another bridal artist that I love that isn’t already booked. So I have trained in a couple of my kickass friends to be hair curling assistants for me! It’’s proven to make mornings go faster and smoother with less stress for everyone :)
How much time does hair take?
Bride: 1.5 hours // Wedding Party/Guest: 1 hour // Flower Girl: 30 min
The more experience I get, the more I lean into my perfectionist tendencies. Hair needs TIME! It takes time and precision to smooth flyaways and prep your hair so that it will last all day. The detailing is what makes the styles POP. No one wants to be rushed, so I have to allow myself enough time to deliver hairstyles y’all will rave about!
Do you require a hair trial?
YES! Which is why the bridal hair preview is included in the total price. The preview gives us a chance to meet in person, discuss your vision, and try it out! We have 2 hours, so its typically enough time to try out 1 full look and maybe a second one that’s similar. If you don’t like something or want something adjusted, this is the time to do it! I’ll take notes, we’ll have an open conversation about what you like and dislike so that you can have your dream hair on your wedding day! Requests for major adjustments or wanting to try 2 totally different looks may require an additional trial ($250).
Mom’s may also book a hair preview! ($200) You’ll receive a booking link for mama’s when I reach out to book your bridal hair preview :)
I typically book hair previews about 4-6 weeks before your wedding date. However, I am happy to book them well before that! I will have more limited availability during busy season (June-Oct), but TONS of availability over the winter months.
How does the booking process work?
Submit the booking inquiry form HERE. From there I will send you a proposal that includes a quote and more information. When you are ready to take the next step, you will receive a contract and invoice. 50% of your total cost is due along with the contract upon receipt. The remaining 50% is due 1 month before your wedding date and can be set to autopay so you don’t have to worrying about remembering! I have recently moved all my booking materials to HoneyBook! It’s definitely a learning curve, so don’t hesitate to let me know if I messed up or something is confusing!
Do you travel?
Yes! I will always travel on-site for your wedding day! Travel up to 1.5 hours away from Richfield, MN is INCLUDED.
Sometimes your venue doesn’t let us in early enough, so if we need to start at a nearby place and move to the venue, there is NO extra cost for that!
Weddings further than 1.5 hours from Richfield require hotel accommodations ($175 flat rate) and additional travel fees ($75/hr flat rate). Please inquire for more information. **Duluth area does not require hotel accommodations
This is a MYTH. Dirty or greasy hair can be even harder to style. DRY, CLEAN, BLOW DRIED hair is a must! That way it will smell good and you’ll feel clean. I carry tons of products to help add grit and texture so that your style holds all night. If it’s been in a messy bun, slept on wet or even straightened, that can make it more difficult to get your hair to cooperate, so please keep that in mind! *Please note that I only work on dry hair - unfortunately I don’t do blowouts, but I can get you a similar look with other methods.
