Do you have a booking minimum?
I DO - I only book one wedding a day going forward, so this ensures I am not rushing off somewhere else. Y’all get my FULL attention. I chose my minimum package of bride + 4 ($950) since it is the most common size wedding I do.
If you don’t meet the minimum, the extra cost can be rolled into a separate hair service for ex. engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, bachelorette party, touch up time, travel etc. We got options! If you are between packages, you can add on additional hair services, and an assistant.
What is the package price breakdown?
TO THE MOON BACK - Bride $450 + 4 x $125 = $950
WRITTEN IN THE STARS - Bride $450 + 7 x $125 + Curling Asst. $150 = $1475
COSMO QUEEN - Bride $450 + 10 x $125 + Second Bridal Artist $250 = $1950
Do you require a hair trial?
YES! Which is why the bridal hair preview is included in the total price. The preview gives us a chance to meet in person, discuss your vision, and try it out! If you don’t like something or want something adjusted, this is the time to do it! I’ll take notes, we’ll have an open conversation about what you like and dislike so that you can have your dream hair on your wedding day! Requests for major adjustments may require an additional trial.
How does the booking process work?
Submit the booking inquiry form HERE. From there I will send you a proposal that includes a quote and more information. When you are ready to take the next step, you will receive a contract and invoice. 50% of your total cost is due along with the contract upon receipt. The remaining 50% is due 1 month before your wedding date and will be set to autopay so you don’t have to worrying about remembering! I have recently moved all my booking materials to HoneyBook! It’s definitely a learning curve, so don’t hesitate to let me know if I messed up or something is confusing!
Do you travel?
Yes! I will always travel on-site for your wedding day! Travel within the 7 county metro is included. Additional miles are billed at $1/mile per artist. *Mayowood Stone Barn and Pinewood do not have a travel fee since I am on their preferred vendor lists!
For all new bookings in 2024 and likely 2025, I am not able to travel much further than 1.5 hours. It’s less stressful for me and my assistants, and then I am home to take of my 5 animals and spend time with my NEW HUSBAND!! Weeee! Hotel stays aren’t my jam, so as long as I can make the trip in one day, I am your girl!
Long story short, this is a MYTH. Dirty or greasy hair can be even harder to style. What “dirty” means to me is day old hair with some product in it and maybe curls from the day before. However, everyone’s hair is different, so if you know you can go a day or a couple days without washing your hair and it still smells good and looks good, that’s fine! If its been in a messy bun or the part is not where you want it, that can make it more difficult to get your hair to cooperate, so please keep that in mind! *Please note that I only work on dry hair (unfortunately I don’t do blowouts, but I can get you a similar look with other methods.
